Why
you should do a 4wd driver training course
Why going on a tag
along tour is a good idea |
There is a lot
of information on this site for four wheel drive drivers BUT THERE IS
ALSO
MASSES OF INFORMATION FOR THOSE THAT DON'T HAVE A 4WD INTEREST AND JUST
WANT TO STICK TO A CONVENTIONAL VEHICLE
Of particular interest to caravanners and campers is our "free
to download" listing
of Australian Caravan Parks - we haven't been able to find a similar
listing anywhere else on the web. This feature has been
upgraded to give you more information on the facilities available at
the various parks. The download files are updated
approximately every 4 to 6 weeks.
If you are subscribed to our mailing list you will automatically be

You
will see much more of
Australia traveling in
a four wheel drive than most will ever see. Vaste
expanses of
Australia's
natural beauty are inaccessible by conventional vehicle. But
there is also plenty on this website for
those touring in conventional vehicles.
If
you don't find what you are looking please return soon as the site is
being continually added to.
Feel
free to let us have your comments and suggestions.

If you don't want to
own your own 4x4 why not consider one of the
many Australian 4wd tour operators that will take you on organized,
guided tours. If its worth seeing then there is a 4x4 tour operator
that will go
there.
Owning and driving your own four wheel drive these days is not like in
the past. Today's vehicles are just as luxurious as cars, and often
more so.
They are just as easy to drive and with modern
technology
being applied to their engines, are economical to operate, particularly
with the diesel engined models.
For caravan towing there is little to beat the torque of modern, diesel
powered, four wheel drives, and coupled to one of the purpose built
off-road caravans will take you on a journey of a lifetime.
Often you will meet people in caravan parks that are using a
conventional caravan and simply do day trips to some of the more
spectacular places.
However you do it, and wherever you go, prepare yourself with
a
choice of top quality maps,
travel
guides and, or, CD-ROM or DVD maps
from the fabulous ranges offered by Geoscience, Hema Maps, Meridian, Memory-Map, OziExplorer and Westprint |

time to time, other product offers that are well worth looking at.
